Time and mobile connection

The standard Azerbaijan time is four hours ahead of UTC (UTC+4:00). During summer time, the zone changes to UTC+05:00 because of the transfer to daylight saving.

The manat is the official currency of Azerbaijan. In general, Azerbaijan is a cash-only country; therefore, it is advisable to bring cash with you and change it at a local bank or withdraw local currency at an ATM machine.
